Should Asha have told him she was going for a test?
It’s good that Asha told Kobana and was honest about the test. Even though Kobana was shocked about the HIV test it means they can both begin to talk about the issues. I think Asha was very courageous to tell Kobana.

I think it was very important for Asha to tell Koban about the test. Far too many times women find themesleves in marriages where they are unable to talk to their partners about important issues such as this. We need to provide spaces and support for women who have such needs in order to give them the skills around raising such discussions within their relationships as well as skill to enable them to negotiate safer sex where necessary!
