Women and safety

Being in a relationship is exciting, but challenging. As African women and men in the UK this can be compounded by the experience of migration. Once here, we may find our gender roles are forced to change as we encounter a social and economic environment very different to the one we left behind.

But this can be a painful process, so we have to learn to talk to each other and re-negotiate roles and responsibilities if we are to protect our sexual health.
