Choices and rights

It's your choice:

  • by choosing to have less sexual partners, you will lower your risk of getting HIV and STIs
  • by practicing safer sex (eg using condoms) you can avoid most sexually transmitted diseases to a large extent
  • If they are diagnosed and treated early, most STIs can be cured - so choose to get checked out
  • 38% of African born men living in the UK do not know they have HIV. It's better to know - so get tested. Why is it better to know? [link to ????]

  • saying yes
  • to be an individual
  • to ask for what you want
  • to say no to what you do not want
