Whether you are young or old, a woman or a man, transgender, lesbian or gay, HIV positive (have got HIV) or HIV negative (haven't got HIV), your sexual health is very important.

To stay healthy, you need to have information about the sexual health choices and services which you're entitled to.

This website was developed by Africans, for Africans. We hope that it will help you to make informed decisions about your sexual health - and help prevent you getting HIV or Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).

If you already have HIV or an STI, it will help you prevent passing it on to others, and help ensure you still have a healthy fulfilling sex life.

What does the World Health Organisation say?

"Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence. For sexual health to be attained and maintained, the sexual rights of all persons must be respected, protected and fulfilled."
